I only put your piercings with "implant grade Titanium" or "ASTmf-136" that is the highest quality Titanium available (or Real gold of 14 and 18k) and is therefore much better accepted by the body so minimal chance of migration/rejection and other unwanted effects, and you notice that during the healing process! I only order from Wholesalers who actually have a Mill certificate to prove that their material is worthy of the title "ASTmf-136" and "real gold"! There is also a possibility to order jewelry from Junipurr (14k gold), Leroi, Anatometal and Industrial Strength Body Jewelry. Step plan for a new piercing : Step 1: Together we look at what kind of piercing you want, you choose your jewelry and we color (anodize) it at your request. Step 2: I anodize your piercing in the color of your preference. Step 3: I put everything I need in the autoclave to make it sterile (it takes 10 minutes) Step 4: While we wait, fill out the consent form. Step 5: The equipment is sterile and ready to use so now we can get started! Step 6: You will receive the advice for the aftercare plus an aftercare form along with some practical tips and you are all set! Piercing information. In principle, getting a piercing is by appointment: by phone, via watsapp (06-29473802) or via the contact form, because she is not always present (unless there is a walk-in day/action day for piercings. The prices per piercing can be found here, this price includes a sterile titanium jewelry. In addition to the standard titanium, there is an assortment with luxurious titanium piercings such as jewelry with Swarovski stones and high-quality polished quality! You can also choose which color your titanium jewelry will be (this is called anodizing), the piercer does this on the spot and is ready in a few minutes! Then you can immediately show your piercing in style without the boring phase until it is healed.. We also have a very extensive range of aftercare products, piercings, tunnels, bioplast piercings, stretchers and other jewellery, we also offer an exchange service, piercing advice and we order especially for you if you are looking for something that we do not have in stock ...so come and have a look around at your leisure. **Payment with pin is possible at the piercer** Procedure. The piercing takes place in a separate room that is completely screened off, so privacy is very important to us. Your piercing will be applied there. Later when your piercing has healed, there are many more materials to use, you will get more information about this in the shop. **Our female piercer always takes the time to determine with you what you want and where it should be exactly, she takes the time to do this so that you are completely satisfied with the end result!** ..."Putting a piercing sometimes hurts for a while, but it is and remains only a prick" .... but that does not apply to everyone.. if you are panicking or anxiously looking forward to getting a piercing, give it Then extra attention will be paid to put you at ease and to help you through this process, you do not have to be ashamed of this and our piercer is very knowledgeable and committed in this area ... When the piercing is done, it sometimes bleeds for a while, but that's nothing to worry about, blood thinners (such as ibuprofen) or alcohol can also make your blood a bit thinner and therefore you bleed a bit "easier".< /p> **You can take this into account by not consuming alcohol or blood-thinning painkillers 48 hours before the piercing placement.** As soon as you are ready you will receive the specific aftercare instructions. **If you follow these carefully, the chance of complications is very small, but it can always happen that a piercing heals with difficulty or continues to be annoying, if you are in doubt about the healing process, make an appointment or contact us just via the app so that advice can be given, if necessary refer to the doctor or a different size piercing can be temporarily placed. As long as you don't ignore it, being there on time is important!** There are also certain piercings that our piercer does not put on due to increased health risks and these are the following: Eyelid: damage/scar tissue cornea/blindness!! Lip/Kin surface: migration/rejection hazard/scars. Tongue surface or snakebite: extreme bleeding/nerve damage/tooth damage/gum damage. Cheek: leaking saliva/damaged salivary glands. Hand web: very high risk of infection/migration/rejection/scars. Surface piercings that are just under the skin: migration/rejection/scars. Sub-clavicular (surface under the collarbone): uncontrollable bleeding/nerve damage/highly increased risk of collapsed lungs!! First aid for piercing problems. Intimate piercings and nipple piercings are done from the age of 18. PIERCING INFO, CARE & RISK You are planning to have a piercing. The GGD considers it important to inform you in advance about a number of possible risks. Placing a piercing is a skin-piercing act. Correct working methods and correct use of the equipment should prevent you from becoming infected with blood-borne diseases, such as Hepatitis B and C. In addition, poor care and unhygienic treatment (both by yourself and by the piercer) can cause wound infections that are harmful and do not make your piercing more beautiful. A piercing under the age of 16. You will be asked to complete a consent form (a statement) before having a piercing fitted. This consent form contains a number of questions about your health. Completing the consent form is for your own safety. If you are under the age of 16, your legal representative must sign the consent form and identify himself. The consent form remains in the piercer's possession and will be treated confidentially. Placing a piercing. Before applying the piercing, the skin is cleaned and disinfected. Piercing must be done sterile. Which means; the needle and jewelry that go through your skin must come from sterile packaging and must not be touched with bare hands. The piercer wears gloves during the application of your piercing, which are disinfected with 70-80% alcohol just before applying the piercing. Getting a piercing can hurt for a while. However, the piercer is not allowed to anesthetize you without the permission of a doctor. Taking care of the piercing. A freshly applied piercing can be compared to a deep wound in your skin. It is very important that you take good care of your piercing. You will receive verbal instructions from the piercer on how to do this. The instruction must, among other things, state how the piercing should be cared for and that you should contact your doctor in case of complaints (severe redness, swelling, pus, wound exudate). The wound caused by the piercing needs time and care to heal. Healing of a piercing wound sometimes takes a long time (from 4 weeks to 9 months). Some people develop scar tissue as a result of applying a piercing. In addition, it can happen that the piercing wound heals unsightly if it has been inflamed. It is not yet known what the consequences are of some piercings at a later age. Your health. If you suffer from one of the health problems below, the GGD advises against having a piercing. • diabetes • haemophilia • metal hypersensitivity • immune disorder • cardiovascular disorders • when using anticoagulants • in places where you have had plastic surgery or radiotherapy • in places where there are bumps, dark moles, swellings or other forms of irritation on your body. Make sure you are well rested, have eaten well and inform the piercer about matters that you think are important (eg medication use, allergies, hypersensitivity reactions, epilepsy, etc.). You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while applying the piercing. Guidelines. In the Netherlands there is a law that applies to piercings. The National Center for Hygiene and Safety has drawn up hygiene guidelines and the piercers are obliged to comply with these guidelines. The GGD and the Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority check once every two years whether the piercing studios comply with the guidelines.
